Eli the Giant
Wow. Shocked. Stunned. Proud. Amazing. Those are just a few ways sports fans could describe Super Bowl 42. Patriot fans could describe it with one word - Disappointing.
For me, the Super Bowl will be remembered for what the Giants did - beat the 18-0 Patriots with a dominating defense and less about what the Patriots didn't do - deliver.
The man who did deliver was Eli Manning. Watching him scamper and then chuck the ball down the field late in the fourth like veteran Brett Favre, demonstrated strength and that "run for your life!" mentality that only a quarterback from the South can do.
Here's to Eli proving everyone wrong - Patriot fans, America, pretend analyst (i.e. Emmit Smith), and even Giants fans.

If Mississippi had a preliminary on SuperTuesday I would vote in Manning, either one will do.
One last thought do you think Eli will go to Bank Plus before heading to Disney World?
